This project is situated on a plot which contains several specimen trees, so the location of the new structure was restricted per environmental codes.  The clients wanted a design that would meld French Provincial style with the feel of an American farmhouse. This was addressed by dividing the entry vestibule, living and sleeping areas into three interconnected separate buildings reminiscent of an old farmhouse. All stucco finished with feature copper standing seam canopies on large Douglas Fir wood brackets.
